The Chromatin meets South (CMS 2026) meeting will bring together scientists from across the south of France to explore the latest discoveries in chromatin biology, with a particular emphasis this year on the impact of chromatin biology in cancer mechanisms and metabolism regulation. This meeting is designed to foster open scientific dialogue, stimulate interdisciplinary discussions, and inspire new research collaborations. Early-career researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and recently recruited investigators) are strongly encouraged to present their work.
Keynote speaker is Douglas R. Higgs (Oxford University, UK), whose research focuses on the chromatin‑based regulation of gene expression during erythropoiesis.
