The 13th International ZOMES Conference will be held for the first time in France and will take place in conjunction with the Ubiquitin/Proteasome Meeting (Clermont-Ferrand). This joint event will provide a unique platform to explore the integrated roles of three major protein complexes essential for maintaining protein homeostasis: the Proteasome, the COP9 signalosome, and the eIF3 translation initiation complex. It brings together leading scientists from diverse disciplines, exploring ZOMES complexes across a wide range of model organisms. The conference will feature recent advances in the structural and functional characterization of these complexes, their role in cellular/environmental stress responses with emphasis on their coordinated roles in regulating protein turnover. Discussions will include how disruptions in these systems contribute to the pathogenesis of various diseases, such as cancer, neurodegenerative and muscle disorders. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Montpellier, share cutting-edge insights, and forge collaborations on protein turnover and maintenance of proteostasis.
Explore accross a wide range of model organisms how the Proteasome, the COP9 signalosome, and the eIF3 translation initiation complexes (PCI) maintain protein homeostasis. How disruptions in these systems contribute to pathogenesis, such as cancer, neurodegenerative and muscle disorders. XIII-ZOMES and 11th Proteasome joint meeting are looking forward to welcoming you in Montpellier, share cutting-edge insights, and forge collaborations on protein turnover and maintenance of proteostasis.
This seminar is notably supported by the Cancéropôle GSO which will award a prize for the best presentation by a young researcher during the Cancer session.
