SUMMARY:Symposium “Neuro-oncology meets Neuroscience”
DESCRIPTION:Cancéropôle GSO partenaire\n\nGlioblastoma is the most aggres
 sive brain tumor characterized by a high proliferation rate\, necrosis\, m
 icrovascular proliferation and tumor infiltration. Unfortunately\, the mec
 hanisms related to the development of glioblastoma are not yet fully under
 stood. It has been shown that the tumor microenvironment of glioblastoma p
 artially controls tumor growth and invasion\, and constitutes an interesti
 ng therapeutic target. A set of recent studies highlights an important rol
 e of the normal neuronal brain environment in the progression of glioblast
 oma.\n\nThis conference aims to bring together neuro-oncology researchers 
 and neuroscientists to highlight these new developments at the interface b
 etween these two disciplines. The conference is open to the general public
  with a half-day specifically dedicated to the Patients/Medical Staff/Rese
 archers triptych (in French).\n\nAbstract submission for flash poster pres
